• Sold as a set of 5 tiny Putz Style Glitter Houses • Wonderful textured coating of either fine mica/glitter. • Stamp on bottom of several says "Japan", one has an original price tag from F.W. Woolworth Co. • Natural sponge was used to make the "trees". • There are cut out holes on the back of each house so a twinkle light can be inserted to illuminate the house. • Great addition to any collector of Christmas villages! • Circa 1950's to 60's. • These are so kitschy and cute.
Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Most noticeably, the cardboard bases are bent, some contain some staining. Most of the cellophane "windows" are torn, but still visible. Several have rips on the backs where the lights go into the houses. (See pictures for more details)
